One year ago, walking trough San Telmo, I have found the office of the Argentinian Sumo Federation. At that time I didn’t know too much about the Japanese presence here in Argentina so I was more than surprise!
Later one I have found the Jardin Japones and enjoy there a 1st of May party with beer and sushi.
Now I just found out that next Saturday will be an Amateur Sumo Tournament in the Japanese Garden. So I will enjoy 2 hours of Sumo at: Copa “HOSHI TANGO”
Now “Hoshitango Imachi” is a former professional sumo wrestler from Buenos Aires, and is a Japanese-Jew-Argentinian.
Also Sumo was a great Argentinian band.
